Trauma! Trauma! Trauma!

Well everything was going so well with after labor stuff until Sunday July 27 2008, Bree's due date. At about 8pm I noticed that I was bleeding very heavily. I called the after hours number for my Doc and a nurse called me back I explained what was happening, and she just wanted me to monitor the bleeding for now. After two more freak outs in the bathroom, I called the nurse back and she told me to call 911. I have never had to do this before, it was kinda scary to call on yourself. And before we had a friend that was coming over to help give me a blessing. I never did get it at home. David had Josh(his brother) come over to take care of Amelia.
The fire guys got to my place and started an IV and checked vitals. As I was talking to them I started to pass out and they had to carry me to the stretcher put me on oxygen and raise my feet up when my vitals started to come back up they wheeled me out to the ambulance and took me to Dr. Phillips hospital to get me more stabilized. When we got there they kept trying to see why I was bleeding so much and had so many clots, but there was so much of it that they couldn't see if there was a tear or anything so they started me on blood and another IV.
David got there and had a different friend there to help give me a blessing. Which I am so thankful for!! They gave me another pint of blood for the ride up to the Winnie Palmer hospital where I had Bree in Downtown Orlando. The Doc there checked to see if he could see anything and it was still a lot of blood and clots. So at that point they decided to do an emergency DNC surgery. What they did is scrap out my uterus from anything that was left behind from delivery. After it was over at like 5am Monday morning I finally got to rest a little before I went home at 4pm. Everything now is fine and am thankful for Priesthood blessings and family and friends and ward members to help and support us in times like these. My Mom came 4 days earlier than scheduled to help us out.
I went to the Doc today, 7/31/08, and everything is as it should be and healing great. I am so grateful for Fire men and EMT's and Doctors and modern day medicine, and anything else that saves lives!
( if you have read The Host by Stephenie Meyer, I wish our medicine was more like that!)

New Baby!!

Bree Kathleen Hill was born July 15th 2008 @ 10:47pm. She weighed in at 7lbs and 9 oz. and 21& 1/4in tall. Labor and Delivery was so fast and easy. David and I went to the hospital got there at 5pm, waited for 3hrs in triage. Finally got back to see someone to check me, I was a 5 and was admitted. Got to the delivery room the doc came up to check me a little
bit later and I was still at a 5 and he broke my water at 9:50pm and at 10:47 Bree was here.
She has been such a good baby no complications at all. We have been worried about reflux problem cause that is what Amelia had,so we made sure they checked Bree out really good. She passed her hearing test and her Jaundice test came back good. She sure does like to eat. She is

our little piggy, she even snorts like one. it's really cute. She has really long fingers and toes! Her toes almost look like little fingers. She has lots of hair in the back and a little on top.
Amelia has her moments but most the time she loves to give Bree kisses and hugs and wants to play with her and help mommy take care of her.
We are just so happy that she is here with us so we can love and take care of her and teach her all sorts of things.
We are thankful for all the family, friends and David's co-workers who have supported us and sent us gifts and flowers and Fruit bouquets and cards.
Thanks!

last tummy picture

This was the las tof the tummy pictures. It was taken the day before Bree was born. I was so ready for it to over with. I had an appointment that morning and my Doc stripped my membranes to get everything started, and it worked.
