Thanksgiving 2009!

Our Thanksgiving this year was great! We have such good friends in our ward at church here that invited us to there big Family Thanksgiving dinner at their Aunts house (who is also in our ward.). We had a great time! We brought Stuffing and dessert and had a fun with the company we had. There were so many kids there that Amelia already knew that she could play with! This is our friend Christy Lowe. She is the friend that invited us to join them.
Thanks Christy.

It was just like home!...sorta...but it was really close.

David had fun outside playing Football with the kids. Bree just liked being with Daddy.

I did not take any of these pictures but I sure loved this picture of Bree!

Christy's husband Derek served his mission in Japan and knows how to play one of my favorite games Mah Jong. So he brought his set and I brought mine and we started two games that turned into one. It was fun teaching and of course..winning.

So they have chickens in the back and they tend to roam around the large yard. There are few roosters and one dominate one. He is white and mean! Well Amelia was out playing with one of her friends outside and I went out to check on her just in time to see the rooster get upset and chase Amelia and peck her on the leg! The other girls Dad and I ran over to her to console her, since she was now terrified! She had lost both shoes running from the rooster, her friends dad brought Amelia her shoes and told her that he was going to eat that Chicken for dinner! Then as we went inside David heard her crying and came over to her and through all her upset and tears says, "mad chicken!" It was both sad and funny at the same time. I then took her to the bathroom to clean up and get ready to go and I asked her what happened and she was being so animated with her story with waving her arms like wings and her fingers like a beak and she said " Mommy that's a mad chicken!" "It bit me right here mommy!" She is such a good story teller. I just hope she is not too terrified of birds...

Amelia the Ballerina

We have a friend in our ward who has started to do dance classes at her home for 2-3year olds for a small price so I jumped at the chance to get Amelia started in dance. She will learn Ballet, tap and creative dance. She was so excited when I told her that she was going to start dance school. She tells me all the time that she wants to be a ballerina.

Bree was feeling left out so she needed her picture taken too! What a cutie!

Fun with curlers.

SO I know that already showed pictures of Amelia's pretty hair from Halloween but I thought that I put them in at night and have her sleep in them and take them out so she can have pretty hair for Church..for once. It worked! HOLY CURLY HAIR BATMAN!!

She looked BEAUTIFUL!!!

Aunt Amy's visit.

Aunt Amy and cousin Makena came to play so we showed them a fun time at Walt Disney World!
Day 1: Magic Kingdom

Amelia with Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum.

Bree liked playing on the playground while Amelia and Aunt Amy and Makena went on Goofys Barnstormer. Amelia rode it all by herself! Brave girl!

The crew with Mickey and Minnie Mouse!! Bree and Makena didn't love it so much.

Some of the fun decorations for the fall season.

Day 2: EPCOT
Well today is our EPCOT DAY! Amelia is excited!..can you tell..?

We were going to take the girls on Nemo(of course) and then just focus in the World showcase. So here are the countries we visited. Also at EPCOT when you visit each country they have Kidkot stations where you get one mask then at each station you get a die cut that represents that country and a stamp for that country. All the cast members(employees) that work at the countries are actually from that country. And the merchandise and food in the shops are also from that country, that is one reason why I love EPCOT!
CANADA

Amelia my little Moose.

The girls just having fun.

UNITED KINGDOM

Not a whole lot to do in here and there were no street shows going on. There is a great show called the British invasion that is a Beatles look alike band that performs. But there was just a few shops to walk through, which is always my favorite part.

FRANCE
Amelia and Marie from The Aristocats.

The Pastry shop in France is my favorite part!!
I got a Napoleon and my favorite a Chocolate Eclair.

Amelia my little painter!

MOROCCO

Makena dressed up in the Belly dancing outfit.
Amelia and Mommy shakin to the music!

Aunt Amy dressed up too.

JAPAN

We had so much fun playing dress up in Morocco we decided it would be fun in Japan too.

The Mommies had to join in too.

Amelia and the Koi pond.

The drummers were out doing a show.

Those are some BIG drums!

AMERICA

ITALY

Amelia was dancing and she got lots of other kids to join.

Our Kidkot stop in Italy was funny cause the guy that was there thought that i was from Norway or Sweden because I had such beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. He was shocked I wasn't. He called me a Norwegian princess.
This guy was pretty funny! He came out with this small Gondola with props and juggled things and interacted with the audience. So funny!

GERMANY

I like walking in the Hummel shop.

AFRICAN OUT POST

This guy sits outside and widdles wood. He makes AMAZING things!

CHINA
We were waiting to see the Legend Dragon Acrobats.

Amelia with Mulan! She was so excited!!

Amelia and Makena rubbing Buddas belly.

NORWAY

MEXICO

I think Amelia could totally be one of the Three Amigos with this hat! So cute!

Bree shakin the maracas.

This is at the Baby care center...I think this was there favorite part.

The EPCOT ball at night. We had quite a fun and exciting day going around the world in a day!
Day 3: Magic Kingdom.
Our second day at Magic Kingdom! I think it is amazing how quickly they can take down one seasons decorations and get ready for the next. Notice there are now Christmas decorations up.

The girls and I with Cinderellas Step-Mother and the Step-Sisters.
...Bree was afraid of them too..
They were pretty funny...and ALWAYS in character.
Amelia holding all the balloons...just don't fly away..
Mommy and Amelia with Chip and Dale.
Amelia loved playing hulahoop.
Bree had too much fun as usual.

DAY 4: Disney Hollywood Studios. We had a short day here and went on Toy Story Midway Mania and called it a day.. and stopped to get our picture with Woody and Buzz of course.

Bree didn't like them either..

Well every good time comes to an end! Bree giving Makena a good bye hug!
The girls love having visitors!
