Our Thanksgiving this year was great! We have such good friends in our ward at church here that invited us to there big Family Thanksgiving dinner at their Aunts house (who is also in our ward.). We had a great time! We brought Stuffing and dessert and had a fun with the company we had. There were so many kids there that Amelia already knew that she could play with!
This is our friend Christy Lowe. She is the friend that invited us to join them.

It was just like home!...sorta...but it was really close.

David had fun outside playing Football with the kids. Bree just liked being with Daddy.

I did not take any of these pictures but I sure loved this picture of Bree!

Christy's husband Derek served his mission in Japan and knows how to play one of my favorite games Mah Jong. So he brought his set and I brought mine and we started two games that turned into one. It was fun teaching and of course..winning.

So they have chickens in the back and they tend to roam around the large yard. There are few roosters and one dominate one. He is white and mean! Well Amelia was out playing with one of her friends outside and I went out to check on her just in time to see the rooster get upset and chase Amelia and peck her on the leg! The other girls Dad and I ran over to her to console her, since she was now terrified! She had lost both shoes running from the rooster, her friends dad brought Amelia her shoes and told her that he was going to eat that Chicken for dinner! Then as we went inside David heard her crying and came over to her and through all her upset and tears says, "mad chicken!" It was both sad and funny at the same time. I then took her to the bathroom to clean up and get ready to go and I asked her what happened and she was being so animated with her story with waving her arms like wings and her fingers like a beak and she said " Mommy that's a mad chicken!" "It bit me right here mommy!" She is such a good story teller. I just hope she is not too terrified of birds...
