Update on the Hill Family!
DAVID: David is still working at Walt Disney World Resort as Financial Analyst in the Finance department doing sales audits ( making sure everything balances). He is a supervisor over 11 people. He really enjoys his job and the people that he works with! He is looking forward to learn all the other things in this company that he has not yet learned. I wouldn't be surprised if we stayed with the Disney company for a long time. David is also serving in our ward as a home teacher and the Deacon advisor and really likes being in the Young Men's program. David recently took the GMAT test to get into a MBA program. He is looking at University of Florida or Stetson University, I believe he is leaning more towards Stetson. It will be better and cheaper in the long run if that is his pick. That program will start in February and will go for 15 months. David loves playing with Amelia and Bree, and is a wonderful husband and daddy!!
PATRICE: I don't like writing about myself so this could be very short. I LOVE being a stay at home mom to my two amazing girls. They are teaching me things everyday! I love to crochet and sew and make things or at least try. I love "mommy time" when the girls are asleep and watch the shows of the day. I recently have liked reading more and more. (ever since the Twilight series came out). I too am serving in our ward as a visiting teacher and I am a supervisor for visiting teaching.
AMELIA: Amelia is always a joy to be around. She will be 3 in January and are trying to get her potty trained before then. She loves watching movies and cartoons on playhouse Disney and nick Jr.(yes she is allowed.) She loves books and her toys. She also LOVES being a big sister. She likes to share toys and books and runny noses and colds with Bree. It is so cute to watch her take care of Bree and be a big sister. She is a great helper! Amelia is such a people person, she loves to show off and get every one's attention.(as I found out walking around in the Dallas airport.) Amelia loves church and is so good(most of the time) and loves nursery! Amelia is just so much fun to watch grow up. She is so little still but has a huge heart full of love. She is a blessing for our family.
BREE: Last but not least, Bree. She is now 4 months old and is getting so big and wows me all the time. She had her 4 month check up on Monday(11/17) and here are her stats.
WEIGHT: 14lbs 5oz (75%) HEIGHT: 25 1/8 IN.(90%) HEAD CIR: 16 1/2(75%)
She can roll from her back to her tummy and almost can roll tummy to back. She smiles all the time and the doctor said that she can now have rice cereal and in 2 weeks we can start veggies so there will be lots of fun messy face pictures coming I'm sure. She is laughing a little and she always smiles when Amelia plays with her.She has great head control and is so strong, she can even pull her self up when you hold her fingers! Speaking of fingers she is a huge finger sucker! Any finger that she can find she will suck on it , yours, hers it doesn't matter! She will also be fun to watch grow up. Bree is also such a great blessing for our family!
Well I think that just sums it all up. I hope you have enjoyed my Hill Family update!

On the way to Mama & Papas House
It all started in Orlando before we even left!! Our plane was having some electrical circuit problems that they were trying to fix before we boarded the plane. After an hour and a half they finally brought in a new plane and we boarded and were off to our first stop out of three. We got to stop #1,New Orleans, fine and were off to stop #2, Dallas, and then #3, Kansas City then our destination Portland ( all on the same plane). Because of delay in Orlando everything else was screwed up! So they told me that I had to get off the plane in Dallas and go to gate 11 to get on that plane that was going to Kansas city when I got there it was going to Kansas city then to Tulsa, I didn't want to go to Tulsa. So I told the lady that I needed to go to Portland and she put me on a flight that was going to Albuquerque then switch planes to go to Portland! ERRR!!
I was SO frustrated! I was not expecting to get off the plane with 2 young children by myself!! So they sent me back down to gate 4 (where I was when I got off the plane) to check in my stroller and see if they give food vouchers for my inconvenient and crappy day (which southwest does not do!) That lady was really nice and checked in my stroller and redid my boarding pass cause she did not include Bree as a lap rider. She let me sit while she fixed everything and brought everything to me. Then we decided to call David and let him know what was going on and to vent. He was so sad that I was having a crappy day and wanted to make me feel better. Then I called his mother to let her know that I would not be arriving at 5pm but at 8:55pm!! She was also sad and frustrated that I was having a crappy day! After we ate our Pizza Hut we found a nice secluded spot by a t.v. and let Amelia walk around. It soon came more occupied by 4 older guys that just loved talking to Amelia and keeping her entertained, they were really nice. Then when it got closer to board the plane we went and stood closer to our gate. Amelia loved meeting new people at the airport and she loved to play in the carry-on checker. ( I think she fits!)
Then we got on our LAST plane to Portland and it was so empty so we sat in the very back so we couldn't disrupt anyone! Amelia fell asleep and so did Bree! I sat back and enjoyed the peace a quiet and tried to pop my ear which were hurting and Amelia woke as we were getting closer because her ears hurt to, and Bree was still asleep.
We FINALLY got to Portland!! My mother-in-law and sis-in-law, Alisa got gate passes to meet me at the gate and help me with the kiddos! Ahhh, we made it...but the adventure was not over! We went to get my bags and they didn't come and didn't come and finally we went over to the baggage office and told them that my bags have not come yet told the guy there my long travel story so he would understand where they might be and he said"they would either come in tonight at 10pm or the first flight in the morning." and said that they would call me, they loaned us car seats and we were on our way. Well we got to my in laws house and I had no diapers for Amelia cause they were all in the suit case ,cause I wanted to use all the diapers so we could really start potty training ,and I planned to buy Diapers for Bree when I got to Oregon. So Kathy ( my wonderful mom in law) and Alisa went to Fred Meyer and got Diapers and Jammie's for Amelia, I borrowed some sweats and they had clothes from other grand babies for Bree. As they were showing me where We were sleeping at like 12am the phone rings and my bags have arrived at the airport, they could bring them that night or the next morning, I didn't want them on the porch all night so they were going to deliver them between 9am and 3pm the next day!!! Finally at 2:30 pm I got my luggage and car seats! EERRR!!! If Southwest was not so cheap I would never fly with them again!
I think I can now handle anything when traveling with two kids by myself ,don't you!?
