Amelia had a big Birthday! She turned five!! She is getting so big and more and more beautiful!!
We went to Disneyland for her Birthday and invited Aunt Nisa and Uncle Gary to come too. I got Amelia a Birthday Girl pin to wear all day! she was so excited to wear it so everyone would know it was her Birthday!

The girls with Nisa and Gary in Fantasy land.
David and Gary and the girls on The Teacups for a spin.
The girls met Tinker Bell and another Fairy friend.
And Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.
After our fun filled day at Disneyland Bree and I went home while Amelia and Daddy went to a Ducks Hockey game. They didn't stay too long...good thing the tickets were free.
Amelia got to pick one thing at Disneyland for her Birthday. She chose a Pluto Pillow Pet.
That weekend we had a Birthday Party with Aunt Nisa and Uncle Gary And Great Grandma at a park close to Great Grandma's home. We had lunch and cupcakes and Amelia opened presents!! We had lots of fun!
This year Amelia wanted Tangled aka Rapunzel. She loved the movie and it is know a favorite Princess. I had to get creative since we were doing cupcakes. So... I got stickers and card stock and wallah. Cupcake toppers!
This one is Amelia's..she picked out this sticker just for her.
Opening presents.
A cute outfit from Great Grandma.
Sand toys from Uncle Gary and Aunt Nisa
The Ladybug Game... now a Family favorite.
A Doll house!
Now on to the cup cakes!
Bree put Amelia's new buckets to good use to collect all the leaves that had fallen..and collecting wood chips from the play ground. Sure kept her busy for a while.

We had a great time for Amelia's Birthday! Thanks for all those who help make it so special!

DISNEYLAND

After Christmas we were able to go check out the decorations at Disneyland! I love Christmas Decorations at Disney! they go above and beyond and everything looks amazing!

This is the Christmas tree in the front.
Sleeping Beauty's castle Christmas style.
The Haunted Mansion, a family favorite. I have heard that it is so fun a awesome at Christmas and the rumors were true! I wish I took pictures inside! So neat! Loved it!

Yes, those are real reindeer... They are taking a holiday since their job is done for the year.
One of my favorite, Small World! It is definitely different in California then in Florida.
Loved looking at the fun decorations at Disneyland. I am looking forward to seeing what they do for each season.
LOVE DISNEYLAND!

A day with Great Grandma Hill

Just thought this was a cute picture.
After Christmas we headed south towards San Diego. We stopped in San Marcos and saw Grandma and invited her to come along. And she did.

These are some pics from my phone driving to Great Grandma's house. I was loving the ocean views!

Our first stop on our day trip was to see the San Diego LDS temple. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT!
Then we wanted to see the beach. We ended up at Torrey Pines beach. The girls loved jumping over the little tide pools and looking for neat rocks with Great Grandma Hill.

After The beach we decided we should head back to Grandma's side of town and get something to eat. She bought us dinner at Wendy's, Amelia showed Great Grandma how to eat french fries with Frosty's! yum!
We had a fun day with Grandma Hill (Great Grandma Hill for the girls)! We will have do that again.

Puzzles.

PUZZLES! Many of you know how much I LOVE THEM! I do them all the time! I collect certain collections and I do them over and over. They are fun to do with friends and family. My sister Jacquie love to watch a movie or listen to some good tunes while we do them. My mother in law, Kathy, and I do them and just chat, maybe put on a great movie we don't have to pay too much attention to. They are also great to do while listening to General Conference. Puzzles are wonderful!

Well, the first few weeks in California I was doing a new puzzle every week. I brought a few with me, yes i know a little obsessed..

Here are a few I accomplished..

The cute Seven Dwarfs
David got this one for me for Christmas. It is a map of Disneyland.
This is one Kathy got me before we left for California. 100 Elephants and one mouse.. took a long time...
finished it and went to the bathroom and came back and found my puzzle like this...
Bree and puzzles just don't mix! She has done something similar to all of them.. but this time she made sure I could not salvage it.

BUT she is too cute to stay mad at! She makes me smile! :0)

Christmas in California

One of the first things we wanted to do before Christmas was go to Disney! We couldn't enter Disneyland because it was blacked out for Christmas so we went to Disney California Adventures. We had lots of fun looking at all the fun decorations and seeing new things. Here are a few pictures of our fun time.

Here are a few pictures of the girls opening presents. Santa Claus came on Christmas Eve because we were going to be out of town all weekend. They loved opening Christmas presents, as they should.

Bree got a Little People Barn

Bree got her first Princess dress.

David got me a beautiful watch..mornings don't look good on me..

THE LOOT

After the presents were opened, we got ready to go to San Marcos/Vista, Ca to see Family.
That night we had a yummy dinner with David's Aunt and Uncle and cousins and Great Grandma Hill. Then we opened some more presents. David's Cousins got the girls a cute Princess tent. They loved it!! We had a blast with them! They have a tradition on Christmas Eve to play bingo and if you get a bingo you get to pick a present out of the pile of random gifts..these are very random things.. then you go for black out and this goes on till all the presents are gone.. it was so fun the girls loved it! Grandma Hill got the best gift out of everything, a $5.00 bill!! We went back to Uncle Gary and Aunt Nisa's house on their Ranch and went to bed. Had fun Christmas morning. Had breakfast and yes, opened more presents! The girls got spoiled! They got fun coloring books and books and fun new things from Nisa and Gary and their Great Grandma Hill. Here are some pics of our fun time.
The Princess tent

Uncle Gary and Aunt Nisa's Ranch is really neat. They have worked really hard to make it look like a park with walking trails and nice plants and clean areas. One thing that just amazed me while we were there is the humming birds!! They have so many , so they registered it as a wildlife habitat for hummingbirds.. Nisa has 3 feeders in front of her kitchen window that she maintains and refills many times a day!! I learned a lot about these amazing birds.

This year for the Hill cousin gift exchange the girls got these super cute plush Minnie and Daisy! How did they know they LOVE Disney?
This year was not complete without making a Gingerbread house. We (mommy) had fun making it.

Well this was our fun Christmas in California, our new home! We hope your Christmas was just as fun.
