Bree is now 9 months old!!! Where does the time go!?!
She is doing great and growing so fast! Here are her new stats
Weight:20lbs 2 oz (75%)
Height:29 1/4 inches (95%)
Head cir.:18 inches (90%)
She also got one shot and her finger pricked to test for anemia, which she passed!
She has had a problem with Thrush lately....which is a mystery how she got it. It has caused me a bit of a problem when I nurse her. I have been giving her yogurt (we could not find gentian violet) to help with it till we went to the Doctor and he prescribed us some Nystatin which will help a lot and I already see a difference in the 2 days she has taken it! Bree is crawling EVERYWHERE she can get too. She is getting so good at standing by herself and loves to walk with help of Mommy,Daddy and furniture! She is doing better at sleeping through the night...now I just need to go to bed earlier!

Easter dress.
Well this was a different Easter than some of the others cause.....I forgot when it was! So the Saturday night before Amelia and I went to pick out her dress. This is what we found. I think it is so perfect for Amelia! Bree's dress is one that Amelia wore two Easters ago and it looks so cute on her!!
Then I forgot to take pictures of the girls on Easter Sunday so today I got them dressed up and took pictures of them outside.
Bree loves the feel of the basket.
It was so hard to get both of them to look up at the same time! Bree was too interested in the basket of eggs.

My Daddy
John Robert Carlton November 23, 1936-April 13, 1988.
I wanted to write a little about my Dad.
There are not many things that I remember about him since I was only 6 years old when he died, but I do have some memories of him.
I do remember dancing to the Sleeping Beauty song ("I know you ,I walked with you once upon a dream") one Halloween. He was taping it,on a actual video tape, so we could watch it later. That is why that is my all time favorite Disney movie ever. He had taped many things from the t.v., mainly the Disney Channel, and old movies. He really liked John Wayne movies and westerns.
He LOVED the outdoors. He would go camping, hunting,fishing, and go shooting.
I remember one time he had taken me and 3 of my other siblings to Goblin Valley for the day. We were hiking and everyone was finding some cool rocks and I wanted a cool rock too, so he picked one up and shoved it in my little pocket. I don't know what happened to the rock but the memory is will be with me forever!!
I remember cuddling with him on Sunday mornings,watching movies with him, riding around in his green truck and going to my Grandparents, his parents, house with him,which we would do every Sunday! He loved animals. Which is why we had cats and dogs growing up.
In fact there was one story that my Grandma Carlton would always tell us about my Dad and his pet duck. They had an irrigation ditch out side in the front of their home and my Dad wanted to take his duck swimming in the ditch. But my Grandma said the water was too swift for the tiny duck to swim in that water......... My Dad took that duck out there anyway....later he brought that lifeless duck into my Grandma and was so sad and wanted her to save his pet duck. So she actually gave that little duck mouth to mouth and saved the duck. I am not sure that I would do the same, but you never know what you will do for your kids.
I find out a lot more things about him as time goes on like, that he liked Opera, going and listening. He worked at Tooele Army Depot. He served as a Marine in the US Military. He loved going to the Temple and served as a Veil Worker for the LDS church. He loved the church and served in many calling, but I am sure his favorite was Scoutmaster. He loved Family History work and had a lot of it done. He was married before and had two Daughters. (Our Family is a His,mine and ours thing and wouldn't have it any other way.)
My dad to me was an amazing man and lived a very amazing life!

This picture was taken at My uncle Daryl's(mom's bro.) home in Providence,Ut. There was Duffin (mom's side) Reunion at his house and we took our camper.That is me front and center of this picture. I look like I am about 2.(?)

My Most Memorable Easter Sunday.
I want to share one of my favorite Easter memories ever.
It was Easter Sunday March 31,2002. What I thought was going to be a fun "I made a bigger Easter basket than you" thing with David,turned into something more special.
My mother came to wake me up cause David was waiting for me down stairs. So I went down stairs and he said it was time for me to look for my Easter basket. (it has always been a tradition in my family to hide the Easter basket and then we hunt for our own). Well I found mine in the basement behind our big couch. It was HUGE! It was FULL of plastic eggs and a big chocolate egg and a bunch of other fun things. A while back we had talked about getting married. (in fact we had the Temple booked and the dress picked out and the plans were in play but I didn't have a ring.....YET) So he said that it could be in this huge basket but I had to hunt for it!
So I started taking things out and I saw a ring box.....but it was not in there. He had put a fake ring in there to throw me off. I asked him where it was and he said that I should open a egg,so I did.
I went through all the small plastic eggs and all I found were rings that you would get from a vending machine and ring pops and cheap looking fake engagement rings. My quest was not yet over.
There was just one more egg to open, a HUGE chocolate egg, that David said was filled with peanut butter. So I cracked it open and guess what I found....not peanut butter!
I found THE RING! A Platinum razor edge band with a princess cut diamond in the middle and triangle cut inset diamond on each side. BEAUTIFUL!It was so cool and so romantic. ( please do not look too long at this picture, It is a horrible picture of me.) David had the Chocolate egg custom made at a chocolate shop that was in the mall. This shop has never done this before and thought it was pretty cool. I guess they had some small eggs in Brazil (where he served his mission) that would have toys in them...I think that is where he got the idea.
This was the coolest Easter I have ever had!
This is the BIG basket that I gave David.....Guess who won.
So I would like to wish you all a HAPPY EASTER! And may we remember the Savior on this very special day...and ALWAYS!
