Project Landscape.
This winter was very cold here in Florida...I know hard to believe. The frost and the freeze took out all our bushes. I wasn't too sad, I really wanted to redo the whole front yard anyway so it was really just giving me an excuse to do it.
Well as you can see there was lots to be done so we decide how we were going to do it and I took mornings and Bree's nap time and weeded and pulled out all bushes and David's help with the palm tree. David worked really hard to get the grass to look better and more full in those not so pretty parts of the lawn.
So I wanted to show off our hard work!

BEFORE
I put up the edging and we planted 6 Japanese Box woods to create a hedge look, when they get bigger that is. We planted 6 Hibiscus plants to replace the big one that I ripped out. They all bloom in a different color. I love them!! Then the girls and I planted the perennials. They loved helping mommy.
Then we also ripped out the mini palm in the middle of the lawn, I did not like that palm or where it was put! We planted a Magnolia tree in it's place! It looks beautiful!!
This area is where all the rain water collects right now cause we do not have rain gutters..yet. So we decided to clear this area out and put down pavers and decorate it with different sizes or flower pots and have a container garden here.
It is soon to come. We are regaining our strength and funds.
