Family trip to Oregon

Well we have waited and waited and we FINALLY got to Oregon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Hill! Amelia was so excited!

We Arrived on October 15th in the morning. So we were able to take naps and refresh our selves before kids came home from school and Grandpa comes home from work.

The next day we went to the Roloff Family Farm. ( If you have ever seen Little People, Big World, This is their farm. We even saw a few of the family members while we were there.) They have a fun pumpkin patch with LOTS of pumpkins and other activities like a hay bale pyramid and horse rides($) and a hay bale maze and a free petting farm where you can feed the goats and alpacas. Amelia did them all and loved it!!

Bree had fun at Grandma and Grandpas too. She loved all the books and the Cousin Makena's Dora chair.

Later in the visit Uncle James and his Family came to visit too! He plays the guitar and one day Amelia saw him playing and remembered she spotted a Yukalaylee(spelling?) upstairs and brought it down to jam with uncle James. It was so cute! He even taught her a few things.

She then wanted to try the big guitar.

We also got to see Great Grandpa Van Epps while we were there. He is 95, 96 this coming April!!! The girls liked seeing him and eating his cookies! We love you Great Grandpa Van Epps!

A few of us went to this pond to feed the geese and ducks, The kids had a great time!

Bree sure loves Whipped cream!
Amelia helped Grandpa make cookies! She had lots of fun making cookies with grandpa!
They make the best cookies!!
Kyra loves the cream too!
I think Grandpa Hill is the Whipped cream culprit
All the Hill Grandkids!
Not a simple task to get them all to sit still and smile all at once!
L-R: Makena, Bree, Amelia, Kyra, Ellery, Caeden.
Just the Girls
Amelia and Caeden

Okay, so ever since these two were littler they have been kissing cousins. SO this is us trying to get them to kiss, and for us to get a cute picture of it! I like this one cause Caeden Is puckering up and Amelia has this huge smile on her face! Too cute!
At least they thought it was really funny!
Amelia and her Josh!
Josh used to live here in Florida and moved last spring and Amelia Loved seeing HER Josh!!
Caeden pushing Amelia on the bike.
David showing his "tough face" with Josh and Michael. Don't they all look a lot alike?
David and Alisa. David being silly as usual.

Bree liked this little bike. We may have to get one for her for Christmas.
So we had lots of fun in Oregon but it was time for us to leave on Monday morning with Amy and Makena, who was coming home with us to visit....What an adventure! LONG story short we missed our 10:45am plane and had to stay another day and try to catch the Tuesday 6:15 flight on standby!!! Well it was nice having another day in Oregon and we had even more fun and we all DID get on that plane and we were headed home to warm sunny Florida!

Bree fell asleep in the weirdest position..we wanted to move her BUT did not want her to wake up so we left her alone!

Amelia got some sleep too.

Well we sure had fun!
Amelia is now asking when we are going back!

UPDATE

Well we have had quite a fun time with my mom and sister and brother who came for a visit. We did fun things like go on a long journey to Siesta Key beach in Sarasota Fl. It was really fun and the beach was amazing! We went to two of the four Disney parks and went mini golfing. Bree got bored in the stroller and David got her out and she found a fun fountain to play in that was part of one of the holes. She had a blast in the water though and it was pretty funny to watch..(I do have pictures on my phone but i am still learning how to get them on to the computer.) What a fun time with family.
Now we are getting ready to go on a family vacation of our own. We are going to visit David's family in Oregon for 10 days! The girls and I are excited to have David come with us this time.! We are excited to see all of David's sibling as and there kids, and a new sister in law and new niece. I am am sure I will blog all about when we get home.
The girls are getting bigger and bigger and learning lots and lots.

AMELIA

One of Amelia's new favorite things to do now is play with daddy's iphone. There are lots of fun preschool apps on there that are fun for her to play. She still really likes to help mommy and Bree. She is so excited to go to Grandma and Grandpas house. She tells EVERYONE we meet that we are going. I can't believe how much she is growing up!

Bree

Bree is doing great and having lots of fun playing with big sister! She does great going up and down the stairs. She is so cute when she uses her sign language and saying more words. She likes to do head, shoulders, knees and toes and loves singing and dancing. She is a little more active that Amelia was so we are trying to keep up with her. She is our little Diva! She loves to wear the bead necklaces and pretty things! She is so much fun!

DADDY

Daddy is doing good and staying super busy with work and school and family! He was called into the Young Men's presidency and scouts at church. David is learning how to do home repairs (like fixing the garage door all by himself).
Our girls just love him to pieces! I don't blame them, he is a great and fun Dad!

MOMMY

The girls and the house are keeping me busy!! I was called as the 1st counselor in the Young Woman's at church, and I love it!! I love being around all the girls and have all those babysitters at my fingertips! I too love learning more home improvement things around the house. I learned how to fix a certain problem with our AC (with the help of a nice neighbor), and just yesterday I learned about kitchen sink plumbing. We have had a leak under the sink since we have moved in and I went to Home Depot and talked to the plumbing guy there and he gave me all the tools I needed and I fixed the leak all by myself!! I am so proud of myself! Now if I could only figure out how to fix the dishwasher...

We love being in our house and having all the space for all our visitors (hint hint).
We hope all our friends and family are doing well. We love you all!!

THE HILL FAMILY!

Siesta Beach, Florida

So we recently had my mom and sister Jacquie and brother Michael here to visit. The first day my mom was here we went to Sarasota. My mom had heard that there were some great beaches there and wanted to check them out...so we went. My brother Michael was driving and he got a little "misguided"(not lost..) and instead of going straight to Sarasota we traveled through Tampa and through St. Petersburg...After 3 HRS!! We finally reached our destination!!!

This is the big scary bridge we had to cross to get to Sarasota from St. Pete's. I was a little nervous.
Amelia was happy the Aunt Jacquie brought her DVD player so she could be entertained on our long journey to Sarasota!
Bree was not this happy the whole time, but after we changed her SOAKING wet diaper and clothes she was a lot happier!!
Bree on the beach! She found a nice spot where the water doesn't go to high and she can sit in her on little pool.
Amelia liked helping Uncle Michael dude make a sand castle. (Because Amelia has 2 uncle Micheals she calls this one "Uncle Michael Dude". Very cute!)
My Florida sun baby!
Bree loved playing in the sand and the water.
The water was clear and pretty and warm!
Aunt Jacquie and Amelia playing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Mommy and Bree
Here Bree is checking out Uncle Micheal's sand castle.

Bree could not get enough of the soft sand and the warm water.
We had lots of fun at Siesta Beach in Sarasota, Fl. It was a lot faster going home than it took getting here. I will have to remember that for next time..if there is a next time.

Central Florida Kidfest.

Me and the girls one Saturday went to the Central Florida Kidfest and Family Expo. We had lots of fun! Inside there were lots of info and safety booths from different company's and police stations.

Then we go outside and Amelia got to sit in a Fire truck! She was so excited!

She met Smokey The Bear!
"Only you can prevent forest fires"
She then got to sit in a life flight helicopter.

They both got to play in there own small bouncy house. They had lots of fun!

We got to see the helicopter take off.

She got to stand by a police car and get a sticker badge.

We ate lunch and then we were going to end our day with a horse ride...well when we got over to the horses they were not doing them any more. I was so sad but Amelia loved standing so close and petting the horses! Maybe another time she will get to ride a horse.

Bree started neighing when we saw them.
