Amelia's Tentake

Almost every morning Amelia asks mommy to make tantakes=pancakes. She sits on the counter and helps mommy mix all the ingredients together. Then Amelia always asks mommy to make her Mickey Mouse pancakes, she get so excited about it when she watches it cook. Then mommy will take it off the skillet and on to a plate, then of course put butter and syrup on and cut it in pieces. You can't have a pancake without a glass of milk to wash it all down.

Then of course after eating Amelia must wash her hands because she got all sticky. Then she wants to watch a movie.

This is what Amelia and mommy do almost every morning.

Disney's Polynesian Resort

Way back in January David got a FREE night stay in any Disney Resort, so we finally decided to use it before it expired. So we stayed in the Polynesian Resort. It was so awesome! This is the first thing you see when you walk in. It is Beautiful! David and Amelia had a blast in the pools. The main pool is for families, it has a water slide at the top of the volcano. They also have another pool that is more secluded for adults. We even called uncle Josh to come and swim with us.

They have a beach area, across the lake it The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and The Magic Kingdom where all your dreams come true!

Bree and I just had fun walking around outside and in the shops. She did pretty good even though she just got her 2 month shots that same day!

I didn't take as many pictures of the room or the grounds like I wanted to, but the grounds are beautiful! We had two queen beds in our room so we were going to take one and put Amelia on the other, not the best plan. At about 3 am Amelia feel off the bed. It was so sad. So David layed with her for about 45 min. and because she is so squirmy at night we made her a little bed in between the two beds.

We had a lot of fun there and hope to be able to do it again.

Bree 2 month check-up

Bree is now 2months old. Where does the time go!? She is starting to smile and laugh and she rolls from her tummy to her back. She eats and eats and eats! I took her to the doctor on Tues September 16, The doc said she is doing excellent! Here are her stats:

WIEGHT: 11 1/2 pounds-75%

HIEGHT: 23 1/4 inches-80%

HEAD: 15 3/4 inches-75%

Curious Amelia

OH Amelia!!! This is what happens when you don't pay attention to your 2 year old and she gets a hold of Desitin Diaper cream! She got it all over her and the carpet and the couch!!! I got it out of the carpet with just water and rubbing really hard but the couch is another story. I called everyone I could think of to see what suggestions they had and I got on the Internet to see what I could find and the only thing that really made any difference is Melaluca products called Sol-Del-Mel and the PreWash spray.( I got them from a lady in my ward, thanks Sis Johnson)I did Have to take off the cushion cover and wash it in the washer, it looks better that it did before. I hate Desitin Cream.

At least Amelia had fun though.

Surprise!!!

SUPRISE!!!!!

We thought we were invited to an open house for a new office but instead this is what we walked into.
There we lots of balloons and streamers and food and lots of presents and most of the people that David works with.

They have been planning this since I was pregnant but things happen and babies come when they want to so this is the third time they have planned it. Third times a charm right.

Amelia had a lot of fun with the people there and all of those balloons that we actually took home.

They all thought Bree is just so prescious and What a great big sister Amelia is. She even got to open Big sister presentsThey didn't even let David in on the secret, it was fun to see his reaction. We are so blessed to know such great and thoughtful people. It is also nice to know that David gets to work with such great people. If you are not aware, David recently got a raise and a promotion. He is now a team leader in sales audit, I think he will be over the Magic Kingdom area. He will be over 10 people.

They are all such great people.The one drinking from the cup is Renee, she is the party planner! She has been great to take David home from work when I drop him off.
