Making a house a HOME!

Well now that we are getting settled in, I wanted to show you how our home is coming along. We (meaning David and his great co workers) painted the walls brown. And the additional rooms and bathrooms will also get painted but we have time. I am excited to decorate more and pull things together.

As you can see there is still lots for us to do, but things are coming long. The yard is also coming along great. I have been out in the morning and evenings weeding. I really do enjoy having a yard, at the moment.

It has been fun making this house our home.

Teeth!

The girls both had their first Dentist visits this week!! They were both so brave!

Here is Amelia after getting her teeth cleaned. She got a fun little bag with a Princess toothbrush, floss and stickers. Then she also got two tokens to get a prize out of the machine! She liked the Dentist!

For Bree's visit, the dentist (Dr. Sotto) did a lap visit where she straddles me and lays her head on his lap. She did not like this. Dr. Sotto looked in her mouth and said that everything looks good for the most part...(BACK STORY- Bree fell a a bout a week ago and knocked a tooth loose. Her mouth was bleeding and it was horrible!)So anyway, Dr. Sotto said that because her tooth is so loose, and it is not settling in because she is a thumb sucker, so he said the best thing to do is pull out the tooth!! But that really logically cannot happen till her canines come in so...we may have a tooth less Bree in the future.

The tooth that was knocked loose is her left front tooth. She so cute I don't think anyone would notice!!

Bree's 1 year pictures!!

So I recently went and got Bree's 1 year pictures taken. She was such a pill. But some of the cutest pictures were taken!! Here are just a few.

I took this doll with us that she got from her Aunt Jacquie and she would not part with it the whole time.

We have a toad living in our garage!

I finally saw him one day while taking the recycling out to the street. He is very neat looking. But I decided out of all the things in my garage this is the one thing I would rather have!

Now we just need to name him/her.

We also get these little frogs on our windows.

I even saw an Alligator down by the pond that is close to our house. I promise it is nothing to worry about.

Fun Times With Uncle Michael!

We went to The Magic Kingdom with Uncle Michael and we invited Jason (a guy in my ward who is Michael's age) to come along too. That way me and the girls could play for a bit and leave and the guys could stay and play at any park they wanted.

It is so fun waiting in line when it is so hot out side!!!

YEAH! We got on the ride and had lots of fun! This ride is much funner with kids who like the ride.

The boys had fun on the teacups.

Me and the girls were in a different teacup and Amelia was so excited that Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) also rode on the teacups too!

We had a blast with Uncle Michael! Amelia can't wait for our next visitors.

(This Uncle Michael is Davids Brother. My brother Michael is coming next.)

Amelia got a new big girl bike!!!

This is one of the things I told her that she could get when she was potty trained! Then we had to wait till we were in the house so she had more room to ride it.
It was funny that after she got it she came home and told me that she gets to go to school now,Because when ever we would take David to work in the mornings she would see all the kids going to school on their bikes.

Sleepy Bree

Bree was watching a Baby Einstein while I was getting some things done and I went back to check on her and she was zonked out on the bean bag. This rarely happens cause she is so active.

It was so cute I had to post it!

Mini Golfing with uncle Michael

This was the first time uncle Michael has been mini golfing. At Disney they have some very fun courses. The one that we did is Summer winter land ( Christmas in the summer) the other side was Winter wonderland.
