EASTER PICTURES 2010.

Because Bree was getting her tooth pulled I got the girls their Easter dresses sooner so they could get their pictures taken before Bree's big day!

The pictures turned out great and they did a good job! The girls looked very beautiful!!

Dentist visit.

This past Thursday the girls went to the dentist for their check ups and both did great! Amelia did great getting her teeth cleaned and has no cavities. Bree did great with her little check up and showed the dentist how she brushes her teeth. However, when Bree fell a way back( about 6 months ago) the tooth that she chipped(top left front tooth.) needs to get pulled due to an infection growing, and its dead. So today she got that done! She did so good. she didn't like the numbing part or the holding her down part...but she did so good after she all numb and she got to watch Princess and the Frog on TV that was on the ceiling. They told me that she did better than some of their 9 year old patients.

Now I kind of wonder if the gap will cause speech problems. We can get her a replacement tooth if we want to pay for the tooth but I think she will be okay without it.

I am so proud of my Brave little Bumble Bree!!

Home Edition:PART 2-The girls room!!

So as you may know we are starting to do some decorating in the house little by little. While Jacquie was here we thought it would be good to do the girls room. We got so good ideas and looked at paint colors and here is what we did.

We decided to paint half a spring green and half fairytale pink! It reminds me of a strawberry shortcake room. At first I was a little nervous painting it like this but after seeing it together it looks really cute! The colors where the perfect choice cause all the little girls things I like are pink and green! We got the Wall stickers at Target for a cheap price and it tied the room together! We had to put the bumble bee above Bree's bed, since she is our Bumble Bree!

I painted Amelia dresser with a fresh coat of white paint(which was the color before) and got new cute drawer pulls. It made it look brand new!!




I made the "A" so it looks like a ballerina(still trying to decide if it needs shoes..) And painted the shelves that we already had.

The "B"is supposed to be a Bee of course.

(it is supposed to be slanted cause it is flying.)

Jacquie brought the picture on the wall way back in October! We wanted, and still will do sometime, a beach/surfer girl theme. The picture is so cute cause it looks like Amelia and Bree playing in the beach.

I have had so much fun making our house a home! We are FAR from being done! but it will take LOTS of time to do the rest and can't wait for the next project to start!!

YES! That is a GATOR on the grass by the water! We have named him Alfred, Al for short. We see him all the time since he is just around the corner from us.. This is the pond that is just outside of our neighborhood. He is really not a threat to us so no worries.

...this little armadillo however is! My nephew Jack, like me, loves Armadillos so I saw this guy behind Disney..pulled over and took a picture and what did it do... it charged me!! He is a fast sucker, but so cute! I wanted to see him roll into a ball...no luck.

Home Makeover: Hill Edition... Part 1!

So I am so excited that I finally get to decorate! My sister Jacquie was here to lend a hand and her expertise!

The first makeover project is the bathroom downstairs, the one that all the guests would use so it made sense. I love the color of the paint and all the things that tie it all together.

THIS IS THE BEFORE PICTURE

Here I am painting this beautifull blue color in the bathroom.

These are the towels that look PERFECT with the color in the bathroom!

We also got all new wall fixtures!

We decided to do a beach theme in the bathroom.

We found these great pictures and other decor that look fabulos!





We got this great cabinet and baskets to add storage.

We got a great new mirror to replace the shaby piece of glass.

TADA!!

The Flu and Phantom

Well a while ago we all got the stomach flu! It went through all of us within a week and it was horrible!! Bree got it first and then i got it the next day...which also happened to be the same day that we had tickets for Phantom of the Opera! I was glad that the worst was over by the time we left! There was NO WAY I was going to let the stomach flu ruin this for me!

The show was amazing!!! I absolutely loved it! I Love my hubby for getting tickets for my early birthday present! I can't get enough Phantom now!! If you can go to the show, GO! IT is totally worth it!!
