Hill Happenings

It has been over a month and OH BOY is there a lot that has happened in the Hill Family!

First, I don't know how many got on while I had a post that said that Hill baby #3 was on it's way.. Well I went to the DR at 8 weeks for a routine ultrasound and found that there was nothing there but an empty sack. :( so I was pretty upset. David had just left for California for 3 weeks to work. I decided to not go through the whole ordeal naturally because of my history after Bree was born and hemorrhaging. So we decided that the D&C was the way to go for me. So here I am all alone with my girls with little to no help.. dadaddada..MOMMY to the rescue! I found out that my mom was trying to come to Florida from Utah to help me. I had found out that we had 2 tickets that we needed to use from our Southwest rewards card. So it all turned out PERFECT!!! It usually does. So my mom came out and helped me tons while I got ready to have surgery. She stayed with the girls at home while sweet Relief Society sisters took me to and from the hospital and brought in delicious meals for us! I am so THANKFUL for my ward in Florida! They are the best! They took good care of us!

After All that was done, we got to enjoy my mom! The girls had a blast with her! She was able to go with me to the program at Amelia's school (videos are below this post). The girls loved Story time with Grandma..especially Bree! She always wants "one more". So cute. She helped me a lot with getting the house ready for the BIG move, and getting it ready for the renters. We got lots done.
After she left I had a few days to complete the cleaning of the carpet before David's parents came for a visit for graduation! I got it all done just in time! David's parents arrived and David came home from CA the next day! It was so nice to have him home! The girls had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa Hill! They loved playing with Grandpa..and I loved shopping and playing with Grandma. We have a blast.

Then came the LOOONGG awaited graduation weekend!! YEAH!!

David graduated for University of Florida with his MBA on December 12 2010! We are so PROUD of him! He is the best! He was so happy to have it all done and to have no more text books to read or homework! It was a great ceremony! Not too long either.. there were 55 grads in David's group and there were 3 MBA groups. The building was amazing! very beautiful and very Gothic architecture. It was great!

We went home after graduation and everything started going REALLY fast! Grandma & Grandpa went home and we stated the whole moving process! The movers came packed our stuff! I have never seen a house get packed up so fast. The next day they loaded our belongings on the moving van and they were on their way to Southern California. The renters (our really good friends, the Lowe family) started moving in right away! We had fun with them and stayed at the house the night before we left for California. On December 16th we woke up, got in the rental car, and got ready to fly to out of our lovely Florida home to our new adventure in California...I was proud of myself I only cried once..darn you Jensine Lowe.

Everyone did great on the airplanes, even our doggie Daisy! We found out that Benedryl is also good for dogs. The girls slept a little and were good when they weren't sleeping. I love hearing after the flight, "OH you have kids!?" ...." and a dog!" "I had no idea!" It makes me feel good that we did not makes others flying experience not so great. I can now say that Atlanta airport is not at all a favorite airport! SO CRAZY THERE!!!

So we landed in California safe and sound! We really like it here... but it has rained and rained and rained and RAINED since we got here.

Christmas is just around the corner and we are so excited to spend time with David's Aunt, Uncle, cousins, and Grandma Hill. (the girls Great grandma.) It will be fabulous!
Well that is about it. I can't think of anything else.. that is the last month in a nutshell and a little more.

I have added some pictures that go along with the past month. Enjoy!
