Puppy!

We are getting a puppy!! Our Young Woman's president has full bred shih tzu's and the female had pups and we are buying one! we are so excited! We get her the first week of June.

I think Amelia has decided on Daisy for her name. The girls are really excited.

Family Vacation to Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

David surprised me with a little family vacation to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. It was so much fun!! Vero Beach is about 2 hours away from our house. We left the Saturday before Mothers day after my leadership training meeting. When I got home I found on my kitchen table flowers in a vase, a "Happy Mothers day" sign and a present and a green envelope. I was surprised cause I thought the trip was my present.Well after the girls both told me 'Happy Mothers Day' I started to open things up. I started with the green envelope which had a little coupon book with little coupons that David came up with, so sweet! The present had some new tennis shoes in it and socks. Amelia kinda already told me before I opened it, she was so excited and couldn't keep it a secret! What a great pre-mothers day so far.
Our drive was fun when we got closer to the beach and seeing all the beach houses right on the beach and the fun colors they paint them,even their mail boxes are different sea animals. We got to the resort and to our room which was nice. The girls, especially Amelia was so excited to go swimming so we got ready to go swimming. The pool was awesome. It has a lighthouse twisty water slide, which Amelia could not get enough of!! They have a kiddie Pirate ship that was fun for the little kids.with fountains and canons and a slide. they had a regular play ground and a mini golf course that was 9 holes. We did it all!
Then we sent down to the beach! I love the beach! The water was gorgeous, the sand was perfect and the weather was awesome! Before you know it it was time for dinner. We ate at the restaurant there (our employee coupon book helped us a bunch.) Our dinner was so good. I got the best roast i have ever had, to tender! David and Amelia both got fish..yes my daughter loves fish like dad. Bree got mac n cheese. Bree thought the butter they brought us that were in the shape of Mickey's were little cookies..they did look like it. So we gave her one cause she wouldn't believe us, she took it and took a bit out of the butter and then she believed us. Her face was so funny! That night they had a camp fire and songs and s'mores. It was fun singing their silly songs for our s'mores. It reminded me of girls camp songs. After our s'mores we were off to bed.
We went to bed and woke up the next morning,Mothers day. We got up ate breakfast in our room with cereal that we brought and got ready to go swimming! The girls couldn't wait! I got to lay by the pool while David took both kids in the pool. So relaxing. Later me and Bree went back to the room for a nap while David and Amelia played. Then David and Amelia rested while Bree and I played. We then went mini golfing and got some dinner to take back to our room, and later that night before bed went night swimming. I decided I like swimming at night rather than in the Florida sun. So much better.
We went to bed and got up and went down to the restaurant and got some breakfast before we packed up for home. Mickey Waffles with strawberries and cream are the best! Packed and went swimming and a walk on the beach before we headed for home. We took a different way home then the way we came, I saw a Dairy Queen and I had to stop, so we got ice cream to share and fries. It was nice to get home and rest and just be home!
There is no place like home!

This is a video that David took of Bree last October. We were mini golfing with my mom, Brother Michael, and Sister Jacquie at Walt Disney World's Fantasia Gardens and they have this hole that you have to putt through the water fountain. Bree loved the water fountain. Enjoy!

Bree update...

YEAH!! Bree got her 6 staples removed on Monday morning.. her appointment was actually for Tuesday but I heard Monday so we went in and they got us in and out, I guess I was anxious to get them out too..
She was again so brave and hardly cried at all. She even got a lollipop for being such a good patient!

We are glad to have that all behind us!

AMELIA'S FIRST DANCE RECITAL!!!

Amelia had her first dance recital to demonstrate what she learned in her ballet/tap class.

She did so great and looked so adorable! She is a cute little dancer!

Her is Amelia with little sis, Bree. She loves to dance and practice with Amelia at home. She can do the whole tap routine with Amelia. I will have to tape both of them doing it together, it's so cute!!
