update!

Well we are in our new home!!!!

David and some of his coworkers helped him paint. (we had no electricity so we had no A/C!!)But they painted all common areas up and downstairs. I stayed home taking care of the sick girls. We got electricity ,cable and the fridge the next day and a moving truck and a bunch of new ward members to help us move. We are in and getting things set up. We have had some more of Davids coworkers give us some beds for the girls and other furniture! (they are the best!)

I feels so good to be in our own home! Now I can't wait for everything to be settled in and the family healthy!
David starts school in a week!
Bree says MAMA!!!! She is getting so big!

We are truly greatful for the many blessings that the Lord has blessed us with!

Amelia got it too!

Well Amelia also got this stupid hand-foot and mouth disease virus! I knew she would but of course a little part of me was hoping that she wouldn't. She is not taking it as well as Bree did. She would hardly drink or eat anything for the first few days, and just when I had about had it and ready to take her in to the see the Doctor she started to turn around! She has had it now for a week and is on the mend..I hope! she did get really dehydrated though and her mouth is really sore. I can not wait till this virus is out of ours lives forever!!!!!

Hand Foot and Mouth disease,

Well our little Bree has had a hard time with her shots from her 1 yr check up and on day 3 I noticed some pimple like spots around the corner of her mouth and later that day I noticed some blisters looking sores on her tongue...that is when I called the Pediatrician's office. I took Bree in and the Doc said that it is Hand Foot and mouth disease. It is more common in children and is highly contagious...so I hope that we do not spread it around too much! What it is, is you get blister,boil like things on your hands and feet and canker like sores in the mouth. Bree has the brunt of it in her mouth, on her tongue all the way to the back of her throat! Poor baby!!!! She is having a hard time eating or drinking anything.The doc said that ice cream and any other cold soothing liquid or food is good for her...so far she will eat ice cream and oatmeal mixed with milk and of course drink milk and cold water. It is supposed to last for about 7-10 days!! I hope she gets feeling better! It is certainly not fun!!

Bree's 1 year check up.

Bree had her 1 year check up yesterday and she is doing fantastic!!

Here are her stats.
WEIGHT: 21 lbs 2.5 oz. (55-60%)
HEIGHT: 30.5 inches (90%)
HEAD: 18.5 inches (90-95%)

Her stats when she was born..
WEIGHT: 7lbs 9 oz.
HEIGHT:21 &1/4in tall.
It is amazing how much she has grown in one year!!!

The poor little dear got 3 shots and has been super fussy and feverish with them! Hope she feels better soon!

Happy 1st Birthday BumbleBree!

I can't believe our little baby bumble Bree is 1!!!
(She was born on Tuesday July 15th, 2008 at about 9:50 p.m.)
We had a fun evening with a few friends and cupcakes!!

I decided that since Bree is our BumbleBree I wanted to make her Bumblebee cupcakes....so this is my finished product!

Amelia is very excited for her birthday...in 6 months!

ALL ABOARD!!

So because I have been busy packing the boxes are the girls favorite toys! I came out from the girls room (I was packing it.)and Amelia had built a train from the boxes!! She is so creative! She put her stuffed animals in and Bree climbed in too. They had fun watching their movie in their train...Amelia was even saying "ALL ABOARD"!
They are too fun!!

We have gotten out all the boxes to start packing and the girls love them!
They are the best toys.They have done so many fun things with them and they are so cute when they play together.

my new hair cut...

So I got my haircut yesterday and I am still not sure if I like it....It has lots of layers and the lady that cut it thinned it in the back....so now my hair feels really weird and really light. If anyone knows my hair it is, or was, SUPER thick. Not anymore...so I am not sure about my hair and I actually cried about it on the way home... and when I got home. It looks a little better straightened but I just don't know....what do you think?

UPDATES!!!

So I thought now would be a good time to do a quick update on the Hill Family!

David will be starting his MBA program at University of Florida on Aug. 7. We are so excited for him. He is doing good and is still liking his job and what he does at Disney.

Me,Patrice, is doing great and is busy taking care of the girls and husband and packing! I still am going to a yoga enrichment class most Thursdays at the church and I love it!! Not much else...at least until it is time to unpack...

Amelia is doing good and loves playing with her toys and with Bree. She loves to dance and sing with The Wiggles and other fun kids music groups. She is day time potty trained and is making progress for night time training. She has fun learning all the time and doing so good! She is such a big girl!

Bree is growing so fast and is always trying to keep up with her big sister. She walks everywhere. She has even started to kinda dance and twirl a little. She still loves her thumb and we are not quite sure what we should do about that. She has stated to watch more Baby Einstein videos and she gets so excited when she sees the caterpillar. She has fun learning and watching Amelia...after all everything she needs to know she probably learned it from Amelia. She turns 1 on Wednesday the 15th and so there will be more pictures then.
David and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! I can't believe it has been 7 years! I am ready and excited for what the rest of the future holds for us!
The whole family is excited to move into the new house next week...we may close a day early on the 23rd so we can move in that weekend.
We are also excited to take a family vacation in October to Oregon to visit David's family. I am excited that we will be going with David.
We will be having lots of visitors as soon as we move so that will be fun too...we love visitors!

Well not much else.
